Privacy Policy

Account details: your email address, display name and password (stored encrypted), or your Google sign-in if you choose that.

Order details: the items you buy, the name, shipping address and phone number you give at checkout, and your order history.

Technical details: device and browser information, and basic usage data that helps us keep the site working.

Application details: your name, business name, contact email, phone, location, business category, product description and any links you provide.

Booth details: your shop name, tagline, about text, images, brand colour, products and live stream link.

Payout details: the method and account information you choose for weekly merchandise payouts, and your billing card reference for monthly booth rent.

Card payments are handled by Square. Your full card number never touches ilovou's servers and we never store it. We keep only a reference and the last four digits so you can recognise a saved card.

Square processes payments under its own privacy policy and security standards.

To create and secure your account, take and fulfil orders, and pass shipping details to the vendor who ships your item.

To bill vendor booth rent, calculate weekly merchandise payouts and prevent fraud.

To send service emails: order confirmations, application updates, approval or decline notices and payout summaries.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Shoppers see only public booth information: shop name, category, tagline, about text, location, colour, images, products and live status.

Vendor websites, social accounts and payout details are never shown to shoppers. They are visible only to the vendor who owns them and to the ilovou admin team.

Vendors see the name, shipping address and items for their own orders so they can ship them. They do not see your payment details or other vendors' orders.

We share limited information with the providers that make the mall run: Square for payments, our email delivery provider for service emails, and our hosting and database provider.

We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember your shopping bag and understand how the site is used. Blocking them may stop sign-in or checkout from working.

We keep order and payout records for as long as tax and accounting rules require, usually seven years.

Account and booth information is kept while your account is open. Ask us to close your account and we will delete or anonymise what we are not legally required to keep.

Depending on where you live, you may ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to certain uses. California residents have rights under the CCPA, and residents of the EU and UK have rights under the GDPR.

Email ilovouinfo@gmail.com to make a request. We will respond within the time the law allows and never charge you for exercising a right.

ilovou is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page and, for significant changes, tell you on the site.
